Valve Performance Assessment

Experiencing cavitation, excessive noise or vibration? We evaluate your valve, operating conditions and process data to identify the root cause and recommend the most appropriate solution—whether that's a trim upgrade, retrofit, replacement, or another corrective action.

How it works

How an assessment works

01 — Define the scope

Define what needs to be investigated, the operating conditions involved and the information required for the assessment.

02 — Engineer & validate

We evaluate your application using engineering calculations, applicable standards to identify the cause of cavitation, noise, vibration or other performance issues.

03 — Report & recommend

You receive a written report with findings and a clear recommendation—whether that's a trim upgrade, retrofit, replacement, process changes or no action required. Our recommendation is independent of whether you purchase hardware from us.

What's included
  • Assessment of cavitation, noise and vibration in existing or proposed control valves
  • Root-cause analysis of trim or valve performance issues
  • Second-opinion review of a trim design proposed by another vendor
  • Trim sizing and selection for new or modified process applications
  • A written report independent of any hardware sale

Good fit when…

  • You need an independent engineering assessment before committing to hardware changes
  • A valve is failing—or underperforming—and you need to understand why before deciding what to do next
  • You want a second opinion on someone else's proposed trim design
Common questions

Is the assessment independent, or does it push toward buying trim from you?

The report reflects the engineering findings — sometimes that means a retrofit isn't the right answer, and we'll say so.

Can this feed into a retrofit or OEM project later?

Yes. The assessment often becomes the starting point for a trim upgrade, retrofit, reverse-engineering or OEM development project, but it's equally valuable as a standalone engineering deliverable.

Need answers before you commit to hardware?

Send us the details—we'll review the application and recommend whether a performance assessment is the right next step before anything is quoted.
